A group of insignia of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta awarded to Captain G.P.C. O'Gorman-Quin, K.M., M.M., Irish Ambulance Corps

a. Grand Cross of Merit, set comprising neck badge and breast star with swords, silver-gilt and enamels, by Cravanzola of Rome, in its original case of issue with miniature breast badge and lapel rosette
b. Commander of the Order of Merit, 1st class neck badge with crown, silver-gilt, the centres in gold and enamels, suspension loop with enamelled arms of the Order, complete with neck cravat
c. Grand Cross of a Professed Bailiff and Knight of Devotion, with neck badge with crown and trophy of arms suspension, silver gilt and enamels, complete with full neck cravat embroidered with gilt wire
d. Knight of Obedience, breast star in silver-gilt and enamel, in its Cravanzola, Roma, case of issue with lapel rosette e. Knight's Profess Cross, breast cross in silver gilt and enamels
f. Cross of Merit, 2nd class, ladies breast badge in silver-gilt and enamels, in its Johnson, Roma case of issue with miniature breast badge, this insignia awarded to Captain O'Gorman-Quin's wife

The lot is sold with original Order of Malta identity card named to Captain Gerard O'Gorman Quin, K.M., together with original Parchment Warrants of appointment for Magistral Knight (1948), Knight of Grace and Devotion (1958), and Knight of Honour and Devotion (1963), the last two in their original presentation folders.
