CRIMEA 1854-55,4 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (A. Brown, 11th Hussars) officially impressed naming, edge bruising and contact marks, better than good fine

Ex. Dr. Payne Collection.

1426 Private Alfred Brown is shown on a supplementary roll as entitled to receive a medal for service in the Crimea but this roll does not unfortunately give clasp details.

'Honour the Light Brigade' shows Sebastopol only but notes an impressed 4 clasp medal in the Payne Collection 1911.

The muster roll for the 11th Hussars, 1 October to 31 December 1854, notes beside his name 'Depot, Varna.'
