M.C., London Gazette, 16 September, 1918, 2nd Lieutenant George Arthur Cust Badham, R.G.A. Special Reserve: 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He did very valuable work in keeping his detachment to their work under heavy shell fire and in getting guns out of action when close to the enemy.'

M.I.D. London Gazette, 21 May, 1918.

Badham was commissioned Pilot Officer, R.A.F.V.R., 8 February 1941, Administrative and General Duties Branch; Flight Lieutenant, 1 July 1944. A letter from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission confirms that Flight Lieut. Badham died on 4 April 1947.
