Dr Gordon Andreas (Andy) Singer began collecting coins over 40 years ago, specialising in the ancient world and Europe. As a student in London in the early 1970s he became familiar with the English numismatic community. After completing his PhD in medieval history, he worked as an editor/bibliographer for the American Historical Association and taught part-time at several colleges and universities.

A full-time professional numismatist since 1979, Andy is a well-known specialist in medieval European coins and has published many articles on the subject. Based in Greenbelt, Maryland, USA, Andy looks forward to serving the current and future interests of our coin and medal customers in North America.
